Wow! You’re here! You’re really thinking and looking for ways to start an online business. That’s great. It took me a long time to even get to this point, I hope you were a lot quicker at it than I was!
Business in the online world has no limits. The only limit is your thinking.
You really do not even need technical skills to start, business training to make it work or everything planned out right from the beginning.
All you need is a willingness to START something!!
There are so many business styles online;
1. Affiliate Marketing – marketing somebody elses product and earning a commission from it. With little or no money, you can be started in an hour!
2. Retail Shop – online e-commerce shops are HUGE. You can find products, services, downloadable products, videos, games – anything, and sell it online, just like you would a bricks and mortar shop.
3. Offer training or coaching in your expertise – people LOVE people to train them online, it removes all the barriers of why people won’t go back to school, or pay for physical courses, and you can make the training as personal or remote as you prefer.
4. Google Adwords and other advertising revenues – you could set up a website just running google adwords, no content even. It may never be a huge business but you get paid to drive website traffic to google ads.
The list goes on!
Remember, you do not have to be perfect, your website does not have to be perfect, your business does not have to be perfect. Just start and grow with every challenge that you have to face.
When you hit a wall ‘I don’t know how to upload an image to my wordpress page’, google it! Check out the resources online, go to youtube for video tutorials, read some blogs on the subject. If your wall becomes more technical, check out how to find someone else to help you with that. You can hire people online to design you a logo for $5 or edit a photo, or write a whole article for your idea.
There really is no excuse not to start with an idea, and watch how it grows. You will find yourself hungry to learn more, to connect with people who are doing the same thing, maybe even get some coaching or mentoring from someone to help you really grow.
My desire is to remove anything that blocks you from growing into an awesome business online. I want to connect you with all the current information, techniques and people that can help you every step of the way.
Yes, I have become an affiliate of some of the suggestions I offer you (which just means those companies will pay me a fee if you choose to become their customer through my link). This is no way means you pay more or I have access to any of your information. I recommend these websites and products because I use them myself. When I first started out, I didn’t know who to trust, what websites were dodgy, if what I was reading on so many websites was true. It took me some time to start to filter out the ‘noise’ and the false promises, and find nuggets of inspiration and knowledge that have really helped me.

Social Media For Business – ameriquest business services
Social Media! The Buzz term that has been going around for awhile now. Everyone talks about Facebook and Twitter, or LinkedIn and now Pinterest. But with all the hype and the conversation about it, do you really need it? And even if everyone tells you that you absolutely must – how!?!?! Its daunting for you when you’ve been totally focused on just running your business or starting it without adding the extra part of engaging in social media.
We’re going to cover some things about all of these social media places and hopefully help point you in the right direction of either learning how to do it and manage it yourself, or finding a social media expert to either set it up right for you or that can handle it all for you.
One thing you have to understand is that Social Media is where your customers are. No longer are your customers just watching television, reading newspapers, buying magazines, checking out flyers in their letterbox – no, they are checking their phones on facebook, or twitter, they are reading emails, sharing information with their friends by the click of a button. Your potential customers base is now global, not just local! Even if you’re an electrician, you could write or get someone to write an ebook or report about the ‘Top 10 things you should check for to get a good electrician’ or whatever! There really is no limit to what you can achieve now.
However, I completely understand, that for many its too overwhelming. How do you even start? What do you say? Maybe its time to consider getting some advice from a social media expert. You could have someone come and speak to you for an hour or so, assess your business, how they could help you, talk to you about costs and management of it. It would give you a base to decide if this is something you could learn to do yourself or if you’d rather pay someone to handle that.
Some great tips if you want to forge ahead and try some things yourself is:
You know – most of all, you should remember. Your business is all about solving a problem your customers have. If your customers can get to know you, trust you, have some fun with you, it’s going have a huge impact on your business. Social Media is a fantastic opportunity to build this into your business.
