The maker of Pro Evolution Soccer (PES), Konami, is confident that it provides better gaming than EA Sports, the maker of FIFA. The rivalry between the franchises started in 2007 and ever since then both EA and Konami have been pushing each other to become better.

After winning the coveted “Best Sports Game of the Year” award last year beating out FIFA 15, Konami is confident that results will be repeated this year. Konami believes that EA’s focus is solely on getting licenses while Konami aims to provide a more realistic and natural game play. A spokesperson of Konami confirms that the center of attention of PES is the gameplay and graphics, nothing else.

FIFA is trying to improve its gaming experience and fan base by including the new Women’s team feature (the first of its kind). However with the latest FIFA bribery and corruption scandal, a lot of small groups decided to boycott the next installment of FIFA.

The Pro Evolution Soccer 16 (PES 16) trailer featuring Neymar Jr and some other big names in the world of soccer was released last month. Since the trailer release, fans have been debating which game will come out on top for 2016, PES16 or FIFA16. PES 2016 is scheduled to launch on September 16, which is a full week ahead of EA Sports FIFA 16.

Based on the feedback from gamers who tested PES16, the game has improved tremendously and has exceeded their expectations compared to PES 15. At this point, it seems as if game critics put PES 16 ahead of FIFA 16, although further improvements in FIFA 16 are most likely to be made before FIFA 16’s official release in September.

To achieve a more realistic feel, Konami included a new stumble animation which makes the game play feel more natural. Also, Konami made some major improvements in the reaction time to pull off more feint and lots of skill moves with better control.

Apart from the gameplay, Konami has made the pitch larger and the game more accessible with a change in camera. The in game artificial intelligence has been immensely upgraded, which provides a better defending mechanism.

Similar to FIFA, PES has included control over player celebrations and the infamous selfie celebration by Francesco Totti. The enhanced celebrations for scoring and winning can be expected to be “State of the Art” with its new graphic upgrades.

2012, 2013, 2014 Fifa  was better… 2015 is nearly equal, I guess PES 2016 will be better.
